Johnny meets an old naked dude in the desert.

I met a man out wandering in the desert with nothing but a knife and the old leather suit God had given him. He said he was searching for some dead cow. Killed by the will of the landscape so he could skin it and hang the hide up from a branch somewhere. Then he'd sit in front of it and smoke some strange desert plant from his pipe. And he'd stare deep into it- so that the colours and shapes would come alive. And in that tapestry he'd see wild apocalyptic visions of the future gods. "Sleepin' just over the horizon", he said!
